Foal-Lac® Powder offers a nutritionally complete powder that is reconstituted with water for feeding orphaned or early weaned foals. Foal-Lac is formulated specifically for foals and simulates the nutritional composition of mare's milk. Foal-Lac milk replacer has successfully raised thousands of foals over the last 50 years.

Indications for Use: For young orphaned foals, foals weaned prior to 2 months of age and foals nursing from mares with inadequate milk supply. For mixing into the foal's first feed to enhance palatability.

Enclosed cup equals 8 oz.
Feeding Directions:Mix 1 cup (8 oz) powder with 3 cups of warm water. This yields approximately 1.5 pints of milk replacer.
Recommended in the first 14 days to feed 1.5 pints of Foal-lac to the foal, eight times over a 24 hour period.
Refer to the Feeding Schedule to determine the recommended amount of milk by age for the growing foal. According to directions on the Foal-Lac Powder container, reconstituted Foal-Lac is gradually decreased for weaning at 8 weeks.
